"Fall seven times, stand up eight" is a Japanese proverb that emphasizes resilience and perseverance. It means that no matter how many times we face challenges, failures, or setbacks, we should always rise again and keep pushing forward.
I am a person who is positive about every aspect of life. There are many things I like to do, see, and experience. I like to read and I love to write poems. Some of my worked entitled (Sana, Ikaw, Alas Dyes, Wag kang OA, Makakaahon rin, Times Two, Sa tamang panahon, Tahanan etc.)
I always appreciate the beauty and power of poetry. It's a form that I can express my feelings or thoughts that challenges me to think creatively and explore more themes of love, loss, joy, sorrow, and everything in between. It's so nice to reminisce about those times. And I'm sad because my passion for writing poetry is slowly fading away. Sometimes I like to be alone , and I hate this feeling because I'm broken inside. I miss the way I am doing what I loved before. Now, I have the hidden pain that I want to face by myself, and no one knows.
This shift wasn't about ignoring the challenges life threw my way. I'm still facing setbacks, disappointments, and moments of self-doubt. But instead of dwelling on the negative, I learned to reframe my perspective. I saw every obstacle as an opportunity for growth, every failure as a chance to learn and adapt. And even the broken hearts can heal with time, love, and the courage to seek help from God.
